To all the beautiful people of the universe who are ready for change
I am a 21 year old female from beautiful (but sometimes scarey) South Africa.
Writing has never been one of my favorite things to do (nor has it been a strong suit).
I am more used to displaying my messages and feelings visually in my oil paintings and drawings.
But lately I have had this burning desire to write.
Something inside needs to escape, some message that feels so important it brings tears to my eyes.
So this is were I am starting my affair with the written word, i hope you enjoy.
We have all had hard times, and i wont bore you with my life story, but im asking you to trust me when i say i understand heartache, etc etc.
BUT i choose to release old hurts, i throw all worries to the angelic rhelm, and trust that the perfect outcome is on its way. Instead of focusing on the tough times, i want to make this blog positive. so from here on out, no negativities.
MY ADVICE: if you want to live a full life, you have to forgive everything.
There is no measure to explain the power of forgivness.
All I can tell you is that you really should do it.
Not only will it make you feel lighter, but it is healing as well.
Louise L Hay teaches in her book "You Can Heal Your Life" that all disease stems from a state of unforgivness, that even cancer can be cured by the power of self love, and letting go of the past. (In fact, Louise cured her cancer using these methods, and this is something not many people know)
We cannot move forward, if we are still carrying the past around. Lighten your load, and let go.
Ever heard the saying "he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders"? well this is more literal than it seems.
Excersize (developed from a session with Louise with some of my own flavor):
1. Write down a list of all the things that have ever made you angry, people, situations, even times when you were angry with yourself. Go right back to your childhood (you will be amazed at how many people have blocks because they are carrying around something from when they were in primary school).
2. start at the top of the list and forgive everyone, one at a time, until you feel that you truely have let go. (Sometimes we may need to forgive a number of times before we can release it from our sub-conscious)
3. Some useful techniques when forgiving - close your eyes and visualise the person you are forgiving, recognise that this person is a beautiful child of the universe, and that you are connected to them, see them for their true self (not the ego, the worrying mind or for the thing they may have done) we each have a pure and perfect soul.
Accept what happened, accept that it was a part of your journey that lead you to where you are today.
Accept that everything that has happened, happened exactly as it should have, for this is where you are now.
After you have done all of this say, "I forgive you (name), I forgive you and I set you free"
Say this as many times as is comfortable, and visualise them saying it back.
This is such a powerful technique. Watch as things just fall into place as you begin to feel lighter, more carefree and happy.
Do this excersize often (and allow your own creative ideas into the process for there is no correct/incorect way), you may find the most important situations will come up first, but there will still be underlying issues you may need to go back to.
Always trust yourself, only you know the answers to your questions.
Love and peace to all
